The Provider Reimbursement Review Board (PRRB) currently has a posting to fill upcoming PRRB Board Member vacancies.
The United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is seeking candidates who are knowledgeable in the field of Medicare cost reimbursement to serve on the Provider Reimbursement Review Board (PRRB) for upcoming vacancies.
Board members are appointed by the HHS Secretary and serve a three-year term. A Board Member may, at the Secretary’s discretion, be reappointed for an additional term. Board members are subject to the Standard of Ethical Conduct for Employees of the Executive Branch, which includes the completion of a Financial Disclosure Report and, when applicable, a Request for Outside Activity. Board members are entitled to receive Federal Benefits (e.g., Health Insurance, Annual Leave/Sick Leave/Thrift Savings Plan). The current annual salary is $165,444 for Board Members. The positions are located in Baltimore, Maryland.
Ideal candidates will possess knowledge of reimbursement principles incorporated in the Social Security Act and the PRRB regulations. A law degree, C.P.A. designation, and/or experience with judicial and administrative processes is desired.
