Nominations for TAANA Board of Directors
Nomination Deadline: February 14, 2025
Positions to begin Immediately Thereafter

The TAANA Board of Directors is seeking nominations for open positions on the Board of Directors:

*All vacancies are a partial terms ending on 31-December-2025. Vacated positions are board appointed. 

Self nominations are encouraged.

Requirements

• The Board typically meets four (4) times a year. Two (2) meetings, in January and at the Annual Meeting and Educational Conference in October are held in person. Two (2) meetings in April and July are virtual.
• • The membership may elect up to 2 affiliate members.
    
• Board members are expected to attend all meetings and pay their own expenses for travel, meals, and accommodations.
  
• Board members may also be expected to perform additional duties such as serving as a liaison to a TAANA section or committee.
• Directors can serve up to 6 years or 3 consecutive terms.
  

Position & Duties

Directors

TAANA Directors represent the interests of their respective constituencies and carry out those responsibilities as delegated by the President.

TAANA Bylaws

Section 5.2.1 Board of Directors Membership

The number of Directors authorized under these bylaws shall be no more than fourteen (14). All Directors shall have been members of the Association for the last two consecutive years. The President, President-Elect, Immediate Past President, and Treasurer shall be members of the Board of Directors. No more than two (2) members of the Board of Directors maybe elected from the affiliates of the association.

Section 5.2.4 Vacancies

Any vacancy on the Board of Directors shall be filled by a Member from the ranks of Fellows of the Association who meet the qualifications outlined in Section 5.2.1 and elected by an action of the Board of Directors for the remainder of the term.
