Registration

  • The Conference Planning Committee collaborates with staff to plan national meetings and educational programs. http://taana.org/conference.
  • Promotes core legal education in nursing programs, awareness of the unique role and function of the nurse attorney in nursing education, and acceptance in the academic community of the Juris Doctor as a terminal degree in nursing education.
  • Health Law and Compliance Section
  • Provides resources, education, and networking opportunities for legal nurse consultants.
  • Open to members who practice plaintiff or defense litigation and deals with litigation practice issues such as discovery, depositions, experts, and trials.
  • Focuses on retention and new member development.
  • Open to members currently or seeking to be in solo practice. Addresses challenges specific to single person firms by assisting members in building and maintaining successful solo practices as Nurse Attorneys.
  • Open to any nurse attending law school or lawyer attending nursing school. Provides for mentorship with TAANA members and networking opportunities with other aspiring nurse attorneys.

    Provides resources, education, and leadership in these areas by making resources available in the form of publications, offering educational programs on "hot topics" in health law, and creating a network of leaders in the field of health law and compliance.

    Provides resources, education, and networking opportunities for legal nurse consultants.
     
  • Litigation Section
    Open to members who practice plaintiff or defense litigation and deals with litigation practice issues such as discovery, depositions, experts, and trials.
