Capital Health (CH) is a three-time Magnet-designated Community Health System with two acute care hospitals, Capital Health Regional Medical Center (237 beds), a Level II Trauma Center in Trenton and Capital Health Medical Center (221 beds) in Hopewell, the Capital Health Medical Group with 300 employed primary and specialty care physicians and the Capital Health - Hamilton Outpatient Pavilion. The Medical Staff includes an additional 1000 community physicians with primary and specialty care practices throughout Mercer County.

The Director Risk Management manages Capital Health's Risk Management Program, including Loss Prevention, Loss Control and Risk Financing activity. Creates and maintains a proactive environment of risk identification, incident reporting and loss prevention throughout the organization. Minimizes and controls financial loss by reducing adverse events, mitigating patient grievances and managing actual claims against the organization, its employees and medical staff. In collaboration with General Counsel and Finance, selects and manages insurance programs and self-insurance coverage for CH, including professional liability, general liability, worker’s compensation, auto liability and property. The Director oversees a staff of three FTEs and reports to the Chief Legal Officer.
